About

Three Generations of Craftsmanship & Respect
Norbert Markway started building in 1945 after serving with the Navy SeaBees in the South Pacific during World War ll. During this time, he specialized in building homes for returning servicemen. In 1949, Norbert created the Markway Construction Company. From the beginning, Norbert’s company earned a reputation of providing the highest quality work at an affordable price.

Over the years, Norbert’s passion helped Markway Construction grow through referrals and reputation alone. The humble business Norbert started in 1949 became one that is respected not only by clients, but also by peers in the construction industry. This respect has shaped his view on the competition: "we have none!"

Markway Construction became a family business in the 1970s. Under Norbert's mentoring, his sons Bert, Jeff and Mick joined the company. They worked very hard over the next 45 years, and our family tradition happily continues today today with Nathan and Matt as the third generation.

As we carry the Markway Construction Company into the future, we are guided by Norbert's commitment to quality, customer service and craftsmanship.
